Graduate Certificate in Accounting

As a graduate-level student, you’ll earn course credit and learn from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â Cox faculty along-side graduate degree seeking students. You’ll be enrolled as a non-degree seeking student, with access to campus and °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â Cox facilities such as the library and study rooms. Courses will be placed on your official °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â transcript upon successful completion.

Credits may be applied toward a future MBA (within a Professional MBA, One-Year MBA, Online MBA, or MBA Direct) or Specialized Masters program.

The Graduate Certificate in Accounting is for experienced professionals, who often hold an MBA with a non-accounting concentration, needing additional accounting coursework to assume executive and C-suite level roles. Additionally, this certificate is for individuals looking to pivot into accounting analyst roles and need solid foundational knowledge.

This certificate includes the following courses:

  • ACCT 6201 Financial Accounting I
  • ACCT 6202 Financial Accounting II
  • ACCT 6205 Managerial Accounting
  • ACCT 6210 Financial Reporting and Analysis I
  • ACCT 6211 Financial Statement Analysis
  • ACCT 6212 Financial Reporting and Analysis II
  • At least one additional ACCT course (courses can be here)

The Graduate Certificate in Accounting takes place over 2 terms, lasting 9-10 months and earning 14 credit hours. With °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â Cox Edge, you can take courses online or in-person as class availability allows. The cost for academic year 2024-2025 is $30,086.
