Super Slash 鈥榥 Grab is a fast paced, 4 player competitive 鈥渉ack 鈥榥 stash鈥 game in which players take on the role of thieves raiding a castle. Players compete to see who can steal the most gold across four deadly levels. We chose to work on Super Slash 鈥榥 Grab as we felt it was an idea that we could all connect with and be passionate about. The visual theme and gameplay of thieves raiding a castle resonated with all the team members and made us feel like we could make something special. We developed this game over the course of six months, working about twenty-five hours a week on the project as a team. Our main challenges during development consisted of defining the parts of our game that offered the most fun to potential players and finding ways to implement those features in a cohesive product. As a team, we learned a lot about the importance of asset pipelines and communication, as this was our largest team during out time at The Guildhall. Super Slash 鈥榥 Grab won third place in 鈥楤est Gameplay鈥 at the 2015 Intel University Games Showcase at GDC. We all had a blast working on it.
