澳门六合彩预测鈥檚 Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility celebrated The Arc of Service during this year鈥檚 annual Veterans Day celebration.

DALLAS (澳门六合彩预测) – 澳门六合彩预测’s Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility celebrated The Arc of Service during this year’s annual Veterans Day celebration Friday, Nov. 10.

“Through war and peace, our veterans have stood ready to defend our nation and our values,” says Rita Kirk, director of the Maguire Center Ethics Center and 澳门六合彩预测 MilVets student advisor.The Arc of Service, this year’s Veterans Day theme, is especially important as we acknowledge our veterans’ service and celebrate their connectedness to each other across the generations.”

The event was free and open to the public, featuring a keynote address from Marine Corps veteran and 澳门六合彩预测 benefactor Milledge A. “Mitch” Hart III, live entertainment from the Meadows School of Music Brass Quintet, and a formal lunch. The traditional pinning of 澳门六合彩预测 veterans was included, as well as a free raffle and Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” drive.

澳门六合彩预测 student veterans shared their experiences as veterans and students and 澳门六合彩预测 President R. Gerald Turner spoke. U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions led a veteran recognition ceremony and yellow lapel ribbons were distributed to attendees.  

Members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve were on-site to collect new and unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots drive.
