Perkins Extends Application Deadline for Fall 2014

Offers July 10 Information Session for Prospective Students

DALLAS – Perkins School of Theology, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â has extended the deadline for those applying for the fall 2014 semester and is offering a final summer Inside Perkins opportunity on July 10. The  midday Inside Perkins event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday,  July 10. Open to prospective degree and non-degree students, Inside Perkins offers the opportunity for prospective students to meet faculty, interact with current students, and learn about admissions and financial aid.  The event will be held at Perkins School of Theology, 5915 Bishop Boulevard, Dallas, Texas.

“These Inside Perkins events offer excellent opportunities to introduce interested persons to the riches of theological education in a university setting,” says Tracy Anne Allred, director of Student Services at Perkins School of Theology.

Inside Perkins is free and open to the public, and includes a light meal for all prospective student attendees and their guests. Reservations are requested. Please RSVP to theology@smu.edu.

The extended deadline for submission of fall 2014 applications is August 1. Prospective students can find additional information at smu.edu/perkins/admissions or apply online at smu.edu/apply2perkins.

In addition, to better accommodate the scheduling needs of students, Perkins will offer three evening courses this fall:

   • Spiritual Formation – Tuesdays, 6:00 to 7:20 p.m.

   • Christian Heritage I – Wednesdays, 6:00 to 8:50 p.m.

   • Interpretation of the New Testament I – Thursdays, 6:00 to 8:50 p.m.
