2023 was a remarkable year for our student-athletes. Take a peek at the highlights.

It was a year of athletic achievement for Mustangs of many sports – all in all, we brought eight American Athletic Conference championships back home to the Hilltop, plus one first-ever . , and were all repeat champions. celebrated their first AAC title. , and enjoyed their first conference titles in several years.

And it doesn’t end there – went on to the third round of the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in nine seasons, and football competed in the in Boston on December 28.

2023 Volleyball AAC Champions

Volleyball

won the AAC championship for the first time since 2016, the team’s third conference title.

2023 NCEA National Champions

Equestrian team

won its first National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) championship – marking °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â’s first national championship in this sport.

2023 AAC Men's Soccer Champions

Men’s soccer

won the AAC championship and went on to play through the third round of the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in nine seasons.

2023 AAC Women's Tennis Champions

Women’s tennis

won the AAC championship for the first time in the program’s history.

2023 AAC Women's GolfChampions

Women’s golf

won the AAC championship with a 14-stroke victory at Southern Hills Golf Club – the team’s first conference title since 1992.
