The Ima Leete Hutchison Concert is part of a series made possible by an endowment established in 1989 by William Hutchison ’54 and his late wife, Patsy Hutchison ’54, who passed away in 2018. The couple shared a long-standing commitment to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â. Both earned degrees at the University, and their four children are °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â alumni, as well. William Hutchison served on the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â Board of Trustees, 1981–87, and is an °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â trustee emeritus.
In addition, the Hutchisons also have generously supported the University through the years with the creation of endowed chairs and scholarships.
