The Standard will be present at the HR Fair on October 16, 2024 from 10:00am - 2:00pm. 

New this year are three voluntary, supplemental health benefit programs, provided through The Standard Insurance Company.

• Accident
This coverage assists with personal expenses resulting from a covered accident, providing direct payment to you or your covered family members, rather than medical providers. It offers flexibility in using the benefits for various costs, such as deductibles, copays, and other related expenses. It encompasses a broad array of treatments related to accidents and includes an additional 25% benefit for injuries occurring during your organized sports. This is in addition to your medical plan.

• Critical Illness
This coverage aids in covering personal expenses associated with covered illnesses, offering direct payment to you or your covered family members instead of medical providers. It provides flexibility to use the benefits for various expenses, like groceries and childcare. The coverage encompasses a range of illnesses, such as heart attacks, cancer, and strokes. This is in addition to your regular medical plan.

• Hospital Indemnity
This coverage helps with personal expenses resulting from a hospitalization due to childbirth, illness, or injury, providing direct payment to you or your covered family member instead of medical providers. It offers flexibility in using benefits for various costs like deductibles and copays. It can extend to cover children and a spouse if desired and includes the benefit of premium waivers for hospital stays exceeding 30 days. This is in addition to your regular medical plan.
