Biography
Muku Santhanakrishnan joined the Cox School of Business in 2013 and is a professor of practice in the Department of Finance and director of the MS in finance program. Before to coming to Cox, he served as an associate professor of finance at Idaho State University where he taught the undergraduate and graduate finance classes.
Professor Santhanakrishnan teaches both in the graduate and undergraduate programs at the Cox School of Business. He earned his PhD in finance from Arizona State University where he was the recipient of the Jack D. Furst dissertation fellowship. His research interests are in the area of behavioral finance – specifically related to the effects of small investors’ cognitive constraints on their investment decisions. He completed his MBA from Cleveland State University and his undergraduate education at Birla Institute of Science and Technology (Pilani, India).
