Portfolio Practicum
Ann Rife Cox Fund
Established in 1972, the $3 million Ann Rife Cox Undergraduate Fund is one of the oldest student-managed portfolios in the country. Students selected for the BBA Practicum in Asset and Wealth Management course manage the Fund. Admission is competitive and each academic semester approximately 20 students are admitted to the class. The Fund’s investment style is equity long-only. The Practicum provides students the opportunity to apply the concepts of equity research, valuation and portfolio management to a real world investment fund.
Nancy Chambers Underwood Fund
Established in 1972, the $6 million Nancy Chambers Underwood Graduate Fund is one of the oldest student-managed portfolios in the country. Students selected for the MBA Practicum in Asset and Wealth Management course manage the Fund. Admission is competitive and open to Cox MSF students, and both Full-Time and Professional MBA students. Each academic semester approximately 20 MSFs/MBAs are admitted to the class. The Fund’s investment style is equity long-only. The Practicum provides students the opportunity to apply the concepts of equity research, valuation and portfolio management to a real world investment fund.
