澳门六合彩预测 Lyle School of Engineering is excited to announce that Dr. Sanjaya Lohani has joined our faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, effective August 1, 2024. Dr. Lohani’s addition to our faculty marks a significant step forward in our commitment to advancing research and education in quantum science and engineering. Before joining 澳门六合彩预测, Dr. Lohani made substantial contributions to the field as a fellow research engineer at the Co-design Center for Quantum Advantage (C2QA) within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). His experience also includes a fellowship at the IBM-HBCU Quantum Center in Washington, D.C., and a postdoctoral position as an AI researcher in the Quantum Information and Non-linear Optics Group at Tulane University. Dr. Lohani’s innovative work in quantum and classical optical communications has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the Elizabeth Land Parks and Franklin Parks fellowship, where he developed a groundbreaking computer artificial intelligence (AI) technique. He has also been honored with the Incubic-Milton Chang Award, the Emil Wolf Outstanding Finalist Award, and the Materials Computation Center (MCC) Award, reflecting his outstanding contributions to the field.
