Biography

Timmie Hathorn is responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy for the Meadows School of the Arts. She brings to this role more than 10 years of experience in alumni relations and higher education administration. Prior to joining Meadows in 2017, Hathorn had worked for nearly five years in °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â’s Office of Alumni Relations, ultimately serving as the team’s director.

In her current position, Hathorn is charged with establishing a new Office of Alumni and Career Success (ACS). In partnership with °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â’s Hegi Family Career Development Center, the ACS will offer resources, events and programs to assist current and former students in building self-sustaining careers in the arts, communications and design. This initiative will expand upon the school’s alumni outreach effort to facilitate connections through the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â Meadows Network – a growing, global community of professionals who are invested in one another’s continued advancement.
