Joseph Hartman (Ph.D 2016), is Associate Professor, Art and Art History and Latinx and Latin American Studies, University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 2019 he published his book Dictator’s Dreamscape: How Architecture and Vision Built Machado’s Cuba and Invented Modern Havana (Pittsburgh: University of Pittsburgh Press, 2019)
