Emily Potts
Emily Potts is an Adjunct Professor in Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, teaching CCPA 3382 Advanced Writing for Public Relations and CCPA 4125/4320/4325 PR In Local Context.
A native Chicagoan and proud cum laude graduate of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â’s Corporate Communication and Public Affairs program herself, Potts is extremely involved in the Dallas community, serving on the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â CCPA Alumni Council (President), the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â Young Alumni Board, the Genesis Young Leaders Board (former Co-President) and volunteering with Highland Park United Methodist Church’s BELONG Ministry.
An experienced strategic communicator, Potts is passionate about helping organizations tell their stories, whether it be through a national media placement or an employee communications campaign. Well-versed in internal and external communications strategies, she has worked in both agency and Fortune 10 corporate settings.
Potts lives in Dallas with her husband, three children (including twins!) and rescue pup.
