Yuko Fukuda
Yuko Fukuda began her piano studies at the age of 3. While attending Tokyo Woman’s Christian University (TWCU), she began her organ studies, was a member of the University Choir and served as an accompanist in various capacities. After graduating from TWCU, she decided to pursue a career as an organist and entered the College of Music at Ferris University in Yokohama, Japan, studying under Tomoko Miyamoto, Makiko Hayashima and Hatsumi Miura. During the 2018-19 academic year, she studied at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â in Dallas, Texas, in the organ studio of Stefan Engels, Leah Young Fullinwider Centennial Chair in Music Performance and professor of organ. During her time in the United States, she served as organist for Cistercian Abbey Our Lady of Dallas. Currently, she is a student of Dr. Edoardo Bellotti in the Master of Music program at the University of the Arts Bremen, Germany.
