Amanda Capshaw
Amanda Capshaw O’Donoghue is a Dallas-based costume designer and artist. Her work has been seen at the Undermain Theatre, Second Thought Theatre, Theatre Three and Dallas Children’s Theater. While continuing freelance costume and character design work, she instructs second- and third-year graduate students in advanced digital drawing and rendering techniques for costume designers. From exploratory iterative design sketches to communicative presentation-ready renderings in varying styles, her courses cover the foundations of using Photoshop and other digital art programs as a platform to refine and streamline the design process as a creator and collaborator.
