Welcome to Spring 2021! In this brief edition, we cover classroom upgrades for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²âFlex, concerns about OS updates, plus much more.

In order to enhance the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²âFlex experience this Spring, we installed new technology in many of the rooms over winter break and made a few other changes based on student feedback.

This January, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â offered several days of training and resources to kick-start the spring semester and help faculty use the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²âFlex model of teaching. Hundreds of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â faculty took advantage of this opportunity attending over 700 combined sessions.   While the new technology should provide an enhanced and simpler experience for your courses, it also adds yet another thing to learn!  Rest assured, we've made it as simple as possible.

Today, we're happy to announce that you can now start upgrading your devices! Before you do, there are a few things we want you to be aware of. All bulk email lists were recently refreshed for the upcoming spring semester. If you wish to unsubscribe from any of the Campus Lists or School Lists, you can do so at mylists.smu.edu.

The Adobe and Microsoft Certification program will continue this spring as a free resource for faculty to utilize in their classes and for all °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â community participants for professional development.
