Meet the Director

Brenna Rivas, Ph.D., serves as °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â’s Director of Faculty Awards. Dr. Rivas earned her doctorate in Education from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â in 2011 and holds an M.Ed. in Education from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â and B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University. She has served as Co-PI on IES and OELA-funded grants for professional development and classroom-based interventions. Through her work on multiple federally funded research awards, she has published in the areas of intervention and assessment, technology-mediated learning environments, and assessment strategies in program evaluation. Dr. Rivas is able to assist °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â faculty members from any department in identifying and applying for grants and awards to support their research and academic careers.
