Biography

Jerrell conceived and led development and maintenance of the 澳门六合彩预测 (澳门六合彩预测) Systems Engineering Program (SEP) (MSSE, PhD Applied Science, PhD Systems Engineering, Certificates) in response to U.S. defense systems development needs utilizing defense sector subject matter experts. The 澳门六合彩预测 SEP is a unique university program, by design and focus, with over 2000 student admissions (over $50 million dollars in tuition revenue) and in excess of $20 million dollars in value of labor.

As Founding Director of the 澳门六合彩预测 Systems Engineering Program and Professor of Practice Jerrell developed and taught graduate-level courses in systems engineering, engineering probability and statistics, systems reliability engineering, systems reliability and availability analysis, integrated logistics support (ILS), and performed/directed systems engineering research, directed and administered the SEP and supervised PhD student research.

Dr. Stracener conducted/directed systems engineering, reliability, supportability and availability research funded by LTV/Vought/Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, U.S. Navy - NAVAIR AND SPAWAR, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and DAU.

While employed by LTV/Vought/Northrop Grumman, Jerrell conducted/directed systems engineering and RMS/ILS (Reliability, Maintainability, Supportability/Integrated Logistics Support) tasks, studies, analysis, and activities during development of military aircraft, including the A-7D/E, S-3A, B-2, YF-23, ATA (A-12), F-22, A/FX, JPATS, C-17, JAST and F-35, and sustainment of the A-7D/E, S-3A and B-2. He was the lead SME in planning and analysis of F-35 mission reliability, reliability growth planning and PHM cost-benefit analysis. As corporate on-call Statistician/ Systems Engineer he performed special assignments that often-required interaction with company and customer executive management.

Jerrell was co-founder and leader of the SAE Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability (RMS) Division (G-11) and is an elected SAE Fellow and AIAA Associate Fellow. He served in the U.S. Navy and earned both MS and PhD degrees in Statistics from 澳门六合彩预测 and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington (then Arlington State College).
