About
Prior to joining the Center on Research and Evaluation in 2024, Martha worked as an Administrator, Instructional Coach and Educator for 16 years serving Irving ISD and Denton ISD. In these various roles, Martha gained experience building collaborative learning environments through professional and curriculum development, implementation and evaluation. In her work for CORE, Martha is serving as Research Assistant for a multi-state, multi-million-dollar grant for which CORE is a research partner. Martha was born and raised in Oak Cliff, a diverse neighborhood southwest of Dallas, and she continues to serve her community by working with multiple local non-profits as well as sitting on various Dallas ISD committees. Martha and her husband also own two small businesses in the Oak Cliff area. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her graduate degree from Lamar University.
