About
Margaret serves as a research associate at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â with a B.A. in History from Texas State University and a M.Ed in Education from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â. She completed the requirements of Academic Language Therapy Association through °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â's Learning Therapy Specialization Program and is a Certified Academic Language Practitioner. After obtaining her M.Ed, she received a post graduate certificate from Johns Hopkins University School of Education in Mind, Brain, and Teaching. As a former kindergarten teacher, Margaret continues to find ways to support early childhood literacy through her involvement as an interventionist in research projects (e.g., Passport to Literacy, Mindset, GROW) that are funded by NIH and IES grants.
