About
Dr. Amy Richardson is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the Annette Simmons School of Education and Human Development and the Director of Educator Preparation and the Scholarship of Teaching. Prior to earning her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â, she was a secondary social studies and English teacher and a research assistant for the New Jersey Center for Character Education. Her areas of expertise include teacher education, social studies education, and the use of technology, specifically mixed reality simulations, to support teacher learning and development. Amy is principal investigator on the Raising Texas Teachers grant funded by Raise Your Hand Texas.
