Upward Bound

Upward Bound at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â helps students transition from high school to their “best fit” college. Our services and the weekly support of our staff are provided at no cost to students or their parents.

98% of students from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â’s Upward Bound program go on to earn college degrees.

Eligibility Requirements

Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families or from families in which neither parent has earned a bachelor’s degree. Program participants must meet eligibility requirements and will be selected through an application and interview process.

Our students must be:

  • U.S. citizens or Permanent Resident Aliens
  • First generation college students and/or low income
  • Committed to program requirements such as
    • Attending Saturday Academies in the Fall and Spring Semester
    • Participate in the Summer Academy (6 weeks)

  • Get the latest tips for the new SAT and ACT
  • Hands on tutoring that improves GPA scores
  • Tailored interactive 5 year plan by grade level
