High-Density Storage
Storage for student organizations is available in the High-Density Storage area (HDS). Student organizations may request card access to HDS through . While student organizations may store items in High-Density Storage long-term, student access is granted on a temporary basis.
HDS User Guidelines
- Some materials are prohibited in the HDS area, including but not limited to:
- Lighter fluid and charcoal
- Beverages and food of any kind, including bottled water
- Unwashed food service items o Aerosols, such as spray paint
- Use the freight elevator when transporting goods to and from the storage area.
- When accessing the storage area, do not move or handle items belonging to other departments or organizations.
- All stored items must be kept in labeled bins provided by SCA. Each bin must be clearly labeled with your organization name. Additional labels for contents can be used if desired.
- Bins must be returned to their assigned space.
- Storage for large items that cannot fit in the bins/shelves is prohibited.
- Only store items that you know you will use again! If you are hanging on to something because you *might* need it, you probably won’t. Consider using it, selling it, or giving it away instead.
- Items that are not labeled or stored properly in High-Density Storage will be removed by HTSC Staff.
