Ph.D., University of Texas at DallasDr. Sara Johnson is a lecturer in the Political Science Department. She received her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Political Economy from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2022. Prior to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â, she taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor at University of Texas at Dallas. Her research interests include political polarization, rural policy issues, state and local politics, and urban-rural interface issues. Recent publications include a paper analyzing public opinion regarding high-speed rail, and a forthcoming book in which she and her co-authors are examining the politics of cultural conflicts in the United States.
