Beth Williams joined the Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center in May 2023 as the inaugural Chief Operating Officer and Administrative Director. An expert in project management, program development, and legal compliance, Ms. Williams most recently worked at the University of New Mexico where she has been an Administrative Hearing Officer. Previously, Ms. Williams worked for six years at the 13th Judicial District Court of New Mexico, where she rose to the position of Deputy Court Executive Officer. In that capacity, she advised the Court Executive Officer and Chief Judge on complex legal issues affecting the district. Ms. Williams earned her Juris Doctorate and Executive MBA from the University of New Mexico.
