Julian Seghers

Julian is a junior studying finance and economics. He is very active on campus, and serves in leadership roles for several student organizations, including HOLA, a Hispanic/Latino cultural organization, and Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity. In his free time, Julian likes to play instruments, film car videos for his YouTube channel, and play intramural sports with my friends. He has previously studied abroad in Costa Rica and plans to study abroad in Spain in the future.

Rose is a senior from Chaudes-Aigues, France and is a Pre-med Biology major with minors in Economics and Biomedical Anthropology. She began working at the Tech Center in Fall of 2022 and is fluent in French with some proficiency in Spanish.

Briana is a Dallas native with a major in Computer Science and minors in Business and Spanish. She enjoys advocacy work and has completed multiple internships in this role, in addition to serving as an intern for city council. She hopes to be able to bring her experiences and skills into the workforce.

Imaan Karachiwalla

Imaan is a senior from Mombasa, Kenya studying Psychology with a minor in Law and Legal Reasoning. She plans on going to law school with the aim of becoming a lawyer. She is the treasurer for Earth First, a member of the African Student Association, and a Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity member. She also has another job waitressing at Olivella’s Pizza and Wine. In her free time, you will find her reading, doing some art, hanging out with friends, working out at the gym, or cooking!

Femi Omotayo

Femi Omotayo is a sophomore originally from Nigeria majoring in political science and plans to minor in graphic design or advertising! She is not sure what she wants to do after undergrad but hopefully plans to attend law school, enter the foreign service, or work in public relations. On campus, she is the Head of Public Relations for the African Student Association and a member of the Association of Black Students. She loves being part of the Kathy Crow Commons community, hanging out with friends, and trying new foods.

Shivani is a President's Scholar from San Antonio. She is a Sophomore who has studied Hebrew in the past and is now studying Latin at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â, and will major in Applied Physiology & Health Management and Health & Society. She is involved in several student orgs on campus, including °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â Business in Healthcare and °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â Rang, a Bollywood dance team. In her free time, she enjoys reading, dancing, and exploring Dallas.

Benjamin is a sophomore from Austin, TX, studying Management Science and Data Science. He speaks English and Korean. He is the Logistics Chair of the Korean Student Association at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â. Ben likes to hang out with friends, play the guitar, and find new places to eat in his free time!

Hannah Spohn is a Political Science and International Relations major who speaks German and is learning Russian. Hannah plans on going to law school and wants to be an attorney. She started working in the Tech Center during her first semester at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â!

John Vidal is a Psychology major with a minor in Computer Science. With a natural curiosity for understanding how people think and behave, John Vidal enjoys exploring the mind while also diving into the world of technology. This unique combination of interests has sparked a fascination with the ways psychology and tech can intersect. As graduation approaches, John Vidal is still weighing options for the future—whether to pursue a master’s in psychology, law, or business. Each path offers its own opportunities to make an impact, whether it’s through understanding and helping people on a deeper level, shaping policy, or leading in the business world. 

 

Taran Sortino

Taran Sortino

Taran is a first-year student from McKinney, Texas, and is majoring in electrical engineering. His hobby is playing video games and hopes to design hardware for video game systems in the future. He has some German heritage and took German Language in high school, which he hopes to be able to combine with his future career and communicate with many engineers outside the United States.
