Favorite thing about °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â: My favorite thing about °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â is the school spirit and pride. Everyone is truly happy and proud to be a part of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â; it shows daily whether it’s inside the classroom, out and about on campus, or within the nearby businesses and neighborhoods. In a city that’s as large as Dallas, it truly makes you feel at home and have a sense of community on the Hilltop.
Favorite place on campus: My favorite place on campus would have to be the Hughes-Trigg Student Center. This is a hub of student life on campus. From housing student organizations and offices, meeting rooms for organizations to meet or students to study, and housing my favorite place – Chick-fil-A, it’s truly buzzing with activity always.
Favorite place in Dallas: I would have to say my favorite place in Dallas is the Lower Greenville district. Full of restaurants, local shops, bakeries and more, Lower Greenville is a great way to escape the true hustle and bustle of Dallas and move at a slower place with a great atmosphere.
Favorite restaurant near campus: I would have to say my favorite restaurant near campus is Rusty Taco. Only three minutes away from campus, Rusty Taco is a staple in the Dallas area. Offering a variety of delicious taco options, they have something for everyone. I would recommend going for one of the breakfast tacos; a win every time!
What I recommend during your stay in Dallas: During your stay in Dallas, I would recommend checking out Klyde Warren Park. Located in downtown Dallas, Klyde Warren Park is an outdoor park that goes over one of our Dallas freeways! It’s a great place to hang out outside and have a picnic or enjoy food from one of the various food trucks, and only a three-minute walk from the Dallas Museum of Art.
